Five Generations of Craftsmanship
Our family has been in the joinery business for five generations. Over the years we have built everything from vintage buses to boats and fine furniture. During the 1980s our workshop produced garden buildings, sheds, fitted kitchens, doors, and windows. We have supplied film sets and props to production companies and tourist attractions, including several world famous wagons. We also manufactured full size oak timber framed houses using traditional hand tools.
In the 1990s we established a natural stone division. This part of the business grew significantly and now supplies landmark buildings across London, Cambridge, and much of England.
Traditional Craftsmanship Meets Cutting Edge Design
Today we employ over 40 people and operate our own fleet of HGV lorries. Our workshops are based in Ancaster, Lincolnshire, and Newark, Nottinghamshire. Our shepherd huts are designed to be accurate representations of traditional English shepherds’ huts, while also offering contemporary options with cutting edge design.
Our range includes huts with pull out sides, pull out bathrooms, off grid models, and themed vinyl image designs. We are currently developing an extreme polar hut intended for winter letting and well suited to cold climates.
Our specifications include triple glazing, high performance insulation, intelligently heated plumbing pipes throughout, and a wood burning stove. We can also provide a fire resistant model for locations where grass fires may be a risk. All of our huts are offered at affordable prices without compromising on quality.
